'Delve Down' was a platform action indie game that was being developed by my brother Dan McGrath (@DanInFiction), who I previously had composed music for with his game 'Cordillera'. He asked me to work on the soundtrack, and I gladly took on the assignment (partially out of a desire to keep working on my music composing when college assignments wrapped up).

This song was intended for the main menu, which would be set outside the enormous mine you'd be spending the game in. Because of that, I felt this song should have a quiet atmosphere that completely opposed the rest of the game's upbeat, rocking tunes. So I used a minimalist melody, and had the background rain convey a certain mood.
